LEAGUE OF WOMEN VOTERS OF THE HOUSTON AREA
Established in 1920, the League of Women Voters does not support or oppose any political candidate or party. However, the League stands as a leader in the political world, educating citizens on issues of great public concern. Since its inception nearly a century ago, the League has focused its advocacy efforts on good government, social policy, civil rights, natural resources and international relations.
Care for Elders is informing the full partnership of a resource allocation opportunity: Supervising agency for the Care for Elders Access Network case manager position. Resource allocations are made to partners for their work, time and effort in ensuring successful implementation of the Work Plan, as outlined in Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). Priority consideration for funding will be given to Care for Elders organizations and individuals that are Collaborating Members as defined in the partnership's Operating Guidelines.

The Get Ready for Life campaign aims to build awareness of aging issues and assist older Houstonians in planning for active, healthy living.
